The zip file which contains the plagiarism quiz written by Lark Claassen cannot be opened except by first importing it into a blackboard course.
Instructions for importing and installing the quiz into a BlackBoard course site:
- Download the zip file
onto your hard drive.
- From your BlackBoard course site, click on “control panel”.
- Click on “pool manager”.
- Click on “import”.
- Browse and select the saved zip file. Click on “open”, then click on “submit”, then click on “OK”.
- Go back to “control panel”.
- Click on “test manager”.
- Click on “add test”.
- Fill out the form with the name of the quiz (“plagiarism quiz”), instructions, etc. Click on “submit”.
- Open up the “add” drop-down box and select “from a question pool”. Click “Go”.
- Select the plagiarism pool, and check the question types “all” box. Click on “search”.
- Click on “select all”, click “submit”.
- You will now see a screen that allows you to reorder the questions, or edit each question as you see fit.
- When the questions are to your liking, click “OK”.
- To make the quiz available to your students, begin by deciding where you would like it to appear. Go to that page.
- Click on “edit view”.
- Click on “add test”.
- Select the existing test using the name you’ve given it (e.g. “plagiarism quiz”). Click “submit”, then “OK”.
- The next screen allows you to set the quiz options. For example, beginning and ending dates, allowing students to retake the quiz multiple times, setting a time limit. When you’ve set the options, click “submit”, and your quiz will now be available.

-Feedback mode? Detailed results.
-Presentation mode? All at once.
-Randomize questions? No. - To view students’ scores, click on “gradebook” in the control panel
